Education & Medical Training
Dr. O’Connor earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska in 1985 and his medical degree from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine in 1989. He began his pathology training in Nebraska, continued with two years at Baylor College of Medicine, and completed a Surgical Pathology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.

Professional Experience
Dr. O’Connor joined Brown Pathology in 1994 and currently serves as the Laboratory Medical Director at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital. His previous roles include Medical Director positions at multiple Houston-area hospitals and staff pathologist at LabCorp. He also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at MD Anderson, instructing cytopathology fellows.
