Dr. Galfione earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University in New Orleans, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2001. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 2006. She completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Houston Methodist Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident, followed by fellowships in Cytopathology and Dermatopathology. She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, cytopathology, and dermatopathology.

Professional Experience
Dr. Galfione joined Brown Pathology in 2012 and became a Partner in 2018. Her training and board certifications support a broad range of diagnostic expertise across tissue types and subspecialties.
