Education & Medical Training
Originally from Uvalde, Texas, Dr. Brunnemann earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M and her medical degree with honors from UT-Houston (McGovern Medical School) in 1991. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 1992, followed by a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology in 1996. She then completed a fellowship in Anatomic Pathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 1997.

Professional Experience
Dr. Brunnemann began her career at Alliance Pathology Consultants in Pasadena, Texas, where she became a Partner in 2002 and served for many years. She joined Brown Pathology in March 2022, bringing decades of experience in diagnostic pathology. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology, board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
