Education & Medical Training
Dr. Motiwala earned her medical degree from Sind Medical College in Karachi before relocating to Houston, where she completed a master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Texas Health Science Center while working as a Research Assistant at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She completed her pathology residency at Nassau University Medical Center in New York, followed by a surgical pathology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia in 2009. She is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.

Professional Experience
Prior to joining Brown Pathology in 2021, Dr. Motiwala worked as a staff pathologist at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center and served as an Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine.

She enjoys traveling with her husband and three children and spending time with her family.
