M. Elaine Kling, MD

Education & Medical Training
Dr. Elaine Kling earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and her medical degree from De La Salle University College of Medicine in the Philippines in 2000. She completed an Internal Medicine internship at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, followed by a Pathology residency at the University of Maryland. She went on to complete fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology at MD Anderson Cancer Center and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and Cytopathology.

Professional Experience

Dr. Kling joined Brown Pathology in 2008 and has served as the Medical Laboratory Director at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital since 2012. Originally from Oklahoma, she has made Texas her home since 2006.

Outside of work, Dr. Kling enjoys time with her husband, Brian, and their three teenagers.
