Education & Medical Training
Dr. Tyler earned her Bachelor of Science degree Cum Laude from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in 1996 and her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001. She completed her internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu and her residency in Pathology at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, where she served as Chief Resident and received the Army Commendation Medal. She is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Professional Experience
Dr. Tyler served as Chief of Clinical Pathology and Transfusion Services at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital from 2006 to 2010, where she was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for her work.

She joined Brown Pathology in San Antonio as an Associate Pathologist in 2011.
