She then continued her education at West Virginia University, where she earned her Master of Health Science in the Pathologists’ Assistant program. Her clinical training included rotations at several UPMC facilities, where she gained experience in surgical and autopsy pathology, frozen sections, specimen triage, gross photography, and tissue banking.
