Disha Vyas, P.A.

Mrs. Vyas joined Brown Pathology in December 2023, working together with Brown’s pathologists within Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in 2011, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Mrs. Vyas attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) for her Master’s in Pathology where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2015. The rotations at UMB included Johns Hopkins Hospital and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

She started her professional career within the Ochsner Health System in the Greater New Orleans area (2015). In 2018, she moved to Georgia and worked at Emory University Hospital in Midtown Atlanta. She later moved to her husband’s hometown of Houston (2021) and was the Lead Pathologists’ Assistant for Houston Methodist Sugar Land prior to joining BAML. A New Jersey native and a mother of two boys, Mrs. Vyas enjoys expressing herself creatively through drawing and photography and is a huge fan of New York-style pizza.
