She went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Pathologists’ Assistant from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2025. Her clinical training included rotations at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Christus Children’s, and Preferred Anatomic Pathology Services, where she gained experience in a wide range of surgical and autopsy pathology practices.   Ms. Lopez is certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as a Pathologists’ Assistant. Prior to joining Brown Pathology, she worked as a Lead Grosser at Sagis Diagnostics, where she developed extensive experience in specimen dissection and laboratory operations. A proud Houston native, she was born and raised in Houston, Texas.
