Education & Medical Training
Dr. Cockburn graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Florida in 2004 and earned her medical degree from Louisiana Health Sciences Center Shreveport in 2008. She completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at UT Southwestern in 2012, where she served as co-chief resident, followed by a gastrointestinal pathology fellowship at Miraca Life Sciences.

Professional Experience
Before joining Brown Pathology in 2023 as a part-time pathologist, Dr. Cockburn worked with Inform Diagnostics and later at a regional hospital in Southwest Louisiana. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pathology and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha.
